Client Relations Manager

Castlefield Collection is a small, woman-led jewelry business located in downtown Toronto. Our team takes great pride in crafting custom heirloom-quality engagement rings and providing premium customer care. This position will be remote from Tuesday-Friday, and will require you to be in-office on Saturdays. Our office is located at 2 Bloor St W. in Yorkville. We place a high value on work-life balance and can be flexible on working days and hours.

Role Overview 

We're looking for a new team member to provide a high-end customer experience! You will be communicating with customers primarily via e-mail, with occasional in-person appointments. Rather than focusing on making a quick sale, our goal is to provide an educational experience to customers, giving recommendations on design features to create a piece that will last generations.

A strong candidate for this role will be a positive, friendly people-person with some experience in a customer service role, strong communications skills and an interest in a creative role. No prior jewelry or design experience is required.

This is a contract position paying $30/hr with 35 hours worked per week. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to pre-existing and new clients mainly via email (but occasionally by phone/text or in-person), responding to all inquiries within 24 hours of receipt
  • Host by-appointment and walk-in jewelry consultations at our office in downtown Toronto
  • Follow up with clients post-meeting via email
  • Educate clients, providing design recommendations to create a durable, high-quality piece
  • Calculate quotes using our pricing model and provide quotes to clients
  • Set up custom purchase links on our website and send to clients
  • Keep client database up-to-date and organized
  • Provide feedback to team to improve the customer experience

Knowledge, skills & experience desired

  • Some customer service experience and a friendly, client-oriented attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to independently and creatively problem-solve
  • Ability to retain product knowledge/details
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Polished style and demeanor (including clean nails for showroom work days)
  • Experience using WordPress and Woocommerce (bonus, not required)
  • Experience using ClickUp (bonus, not required)
