While we do our best to answer phone calls, we may be unavailable at times due to meetings or assisting other clients. Email is our preferred method of communication, as it allows us to keep everything clear and organized for you and our ring concierges.
When can I expect to hear back from a Castlefield Ring Consierge?
We work hard to get back to all of our customers within 24 - 48 hours, during our business hours. If you do not hear back from us within that timeline, please don’t hesitate to reach out again, as we are eager to help you!
How soon should I start the process of designing and purchasing an engagement ring and/or wedding band?
We recommend starting the process as soon as possible, especially if you plan to customize your ring(s), so you will have plenty of time to review and make decisions without a rushed timeline.
Once you start the process there is no rush on our end to move to the next step so if you're designing something custom you can start working on your digital mockup and make changes until you're happy with it, then wait until you're ready to start the crafting process if you'd like!
Once your design details are determined, expect the digital mockup and crafting process to take about 12 weeks. So with this in mind, we would recommend giving yourself at least 3 - 4 months to have enough time to ask questions, make changes and and allow a buffer in case anything comes up to delay the process!
Does Castlefield take appointments?
Yes! We are happy to schedule you in for an in-person or virtual appointment! Please select your preferred appointment date and time in our booking calendar on our website.
At this time we are unable to accept same-day appointments.

I'm at your address but don't see your storefront! How can I enter your store?
We don't currently have a storefront and are operating out of an office, so you won't find us at store level.
We are by appointment only (except when we do walk-ins on Saturdays) and will meet you in our lobby at your scheduled appointment time and bring you up to our office for your meeting!
Is the Castlefield office wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our office is wheelchair accessible!
Since our office is not very large, after you've booked your in-person meeting with us, we recommend reaching out to us over email at hello@castlefieldcollection.com so we can prepare our office to provide you with the best experience during your appointment!
Does Castlefield sell loose stones?
Yes, we do! We sell moissanite, lab diamond and lots of different gemstones all loose.
I'm not able to come into the Castlefield office, how do I know what ring size I am?
We recommend going to your local jeweler to be properly sized as many ring sizers found online are not very accurate.
Bands that are 4 mm or more tend to fit about 1/2 a size tighter so we recommend sizing up by 1/2 a size if you're not able to be sized with a band that is similar to the width you'd like for your ring.
Does Castlefield Keep Rings in Stock?
All our rings are made to order, but we do have a small ready to ship selection of sample rings available for purchase. Please note that these rings will take approximately 2 - 3 weeks to be resized and ready to ship.
Does my purchase come with a ring box?
All of our rings come with a custom Castlefield Collection pink ring box.
Does Castlefield have a minimum budget you work with?
While most of our engagement ring designs start around $1,300 USD//$1,820 CAD +HST, we do our best to work with all budgets and ensure all of our customers, regardless of budget, receive a beautiful Castlefield ring!

Does Castlefield offer financing?
We can arrange a layaway plan where you can make payments at any pace you like, and in as small increments as you like. We're able to offer this to all customers.
For our US customers, PayPal can be selected during checkout and you can use their Buy Now, Pay Later plan.

Does Castlefield offer Insurance on their rings?
Castlefield Collection does not offer ring insurance. If needed, we are able to provide a detailed receipt of your ring that you can use to show your insurance provider.
We do recommend that all customers purchase independent insurance for their Castlefield Collection jewelry. This can provide coverage in the case of accidental damage, loss or theft. Contact your insurance provider for more information.
Does Castlefield give any jewelry care tips?
A great rule of thumb is to treat your ring like the precious treasure it is! To keep your jewelry in great condition, we highly recommend that you take off your jewelry in any situation where it could be warped or otherwise damaged.
For example, we highly recommend you take off your ring before working out, playing sports, exercising, swimming, doing tasks that involve manual strength/force, washing dishes, washing hands, showering, handling cleaning products or chemicals, or even sleeping.
How should I clean my Castlefield Jewelry?
It is easy to gently clean your jewelry at home! Simply fill a cup with warm water and a drop of dish soap. Stir, then place your ring in the cup. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes. Then, wet a soft baby toothbrush with warm water and a touch of dish soap and gently brush your ring. Don't forget to brush around and underneath your stone! Then, simply rinse with warm water and pat dry. Your ring will be sparkling like new! Repeat as often as you like - this is gentle and will not damage your ring.

How do I book an appointment?

Does Castlefield take walk-in appointments?
We're excited to share that we now offer walk-in appointments on Saturdays, when available! Simply send us a text or give us a call at 647-581-3138 when you've arrived and we will respond as soon as we're able to! Please note that appointments are first come, first served so we may be in an appointment already and will get back to you as soon as we're available.
We still recommend booking or reaching out ahead of time if you can to ensure there is availability!
Does Castlefield take same day appointments?
Other than Saturdays, we're currently unable to take same-day appointments!
Where is the Castlefield office located?
We are located at 1 Dundas St W, in the heart of downtown Toronto!
We are conveniently located right next to the Eaton Centre shopping mall.
Our office lobby is accessible from the street between H&M and JOEY Eaton Centre.
Is there parking at your office?
There are many paid parking options close to our office!
We recommend parking at either the Eaton Centre or Bell Trinity Square.
Are you accessible by TTC?
Yes! Our office can easily be reached by the TTC subway, streetcar and bus.
If arriving by subway, take line 1, with the closest stops to our office being:

How long are appointments with a Castlefield ring concierge?
All of our appointments allow for up to 45 minutes with one of our ring concierges!
What can I expect during an in-person appointment at Castlefield?
The day of your appointment, one of our Castlefield Collection ring concierges will send you a text to confirm your appointment time and provide you with meeting instructions.
Your ring concierge will meet you in the lobby at your appointment time and bring you up to our office.
You will get up to 45 minutes to browse and try on all of our sample moissanite and lab diamond rings! Feel free to take pictures, ask questions and plan out your dream ring.
Your ring concierge will take notes during your appointment and will send these to you over email, along with any quotes you'd like a few days after your meeting.
How many people can I bring with me to my in-person appointment?
To comfortably fit all visitors, please note we are limited to a maximum of three guests per appointment.
Will I get to see real moissanite and lab diamond stones during my in-person appointment?
Yes! All of our sample rings and loose stones that you will see (and get to try on) during your appointment are all real moissanite and lab diamonds!
I saw a ring on your social media or website, can I see the ring in person when I have my appointment?
Because we create a lot of custom rings, we do not always have a sample of each of the designs at our office. If there is a specific ring that you would like to see, please either include the ring description in your appointment booking notes or email us at hello@castlefieldcollection.com prior to your appointment so we can confirm if we currently have a sample ring of that design at our office.
What can I expect during a video call appointment with Castlefield?
Prior to your video call, your ring concierge will send you an email with a link to your 45 minute video call. Please note that all video call appointment times are in EST/EDT and we use Zoom for our video calls.
During this video call you can ask questions and design your dream ring! Your ring concierge will take notes during your appointment and will send these to you over email, along with any quotes you'd like a few days after your meeting.
As it's difficult to show our rings over video call, we can follow up your call with any pictures and videos of the ring(s) that you'd like!
What can I expect during a phone call appointment with Castlefield?
Prior to your phone call appointment, your ring concierge will send you a text to confirm your appointment time. Please note that all phone call appointment times are in EST/EDT.
During this call you can ask questions and design your dream ring! Your ring concierge will take notes during your appointment and will send these to you over email, along with any quotes you'd like a few days after your meeting.
We can follow up your call with any pictures and videos of the ring(s) that you'd like!
I'm still shopping around, are there any obligations if I decide to book an appointment and then not proceed with Castlefield?
All of our appointments are with absolutely no purchase obligation!
After our meeting, we will send you just one follow up email summarizing your jewelry preferences that were determined during our meeting, along with any quotes you'd like. Then it's your turn to reach out to us to continue the conversation if you'd like - we will never hassle you!
Ordering & Production
I placed an order on the Castlefield website, now what do I do?
Thank you so much for placing an order with us!
Unless we have any questions, once your order is received, we will start crafting right away. Crafting currently takes about 8 - 9 weeks so once your order is complete we will reach out to the email that you provided to confirm your shipping address and will then send over your tracking information once we ship out your order!
How long will it take to receive my Castlefield order?
Please allow approximately 8 - 9 weeks for your ring to be crafted and ready to ship or be picked up in person.
If you are placing a custom order, you can expect another 2 - 3 weeks to create a digital mockup. This timeline may be extended if changes are made to the digital mockup.
Can I get an update on my order?

Can I expedite my order?
Depending on the product, we may be able to expedite the process. Please send us an email at hello@castlefieldcollection.com with the details of what you are looking to purchase along with the date you are hoping to receive the order by.
Rush orders aren't always possible, but we will do our best to accommodate your request. A rush fee may apply.
Custom
Am I able to design a custom ring?
Yes! We love helping our clients to design the ring of their dreams!
Our custom creation process is simple and straightforward. You'll have full transparency and control throughout the creation of your unique ring. There are no added or hidden fees for our custom ring process.

What is the ordering process for a custom Castlefield moissanite or gemstone ring?
Fill out a custom order form or reach out to us over email with what you're thinking for your ring design! We'll provide you with quotes and answer any questions you may have.
After your ring design details have been determined, if you're interested in getting started, we begin by creating a digital mockup of your design for you to review before we begin crafting. This way, you'll be able to see exactly what it will look like and can let us know if you want any adjustments to the design before moving forward. We require a $100 USD//$140 CAD +HST non-refundable deposit for this, and this payment will be allocated toward the cost of your ring. Turnaround time for digital mockups is currently about 2 - 3 weeks.
We're happy to make adjustments to your mockup until you're happy with it! Keep in mind that making changes to the digital mockup will extend the timeline. Please note, after two mockup adjustments, a fee of $50 USD//$70 CAD +HST will apply for further changes. This fee will also go towards the total cost of your ring.
Then, once you are happy with the mockup and are ready to move forward, the next step would be a payment of 50% of the cost of the ring. Once that is received, we would begin crafting. After about 8 - 9 weeks, we will send you photos/videos of your finished piece! Any time after that point, you can pay the remaining balance. Once the balance is paid, we will ship your ring out free of charge, or we can schedule a time for you to come by in-person to pick it up if you prefer.
What is the ordering process for a custom Castlefield lab diamond ring?
Select a lab diamond from our database or reach out to us for some help selecting. Once you've selected your lab diamond, you will need to place a 50% deposit on it in order for us to secure it for you.
After your lab diamond has been secured let us know what you're thinking for your ring setting design! We'll provide you with quotes and answer any questions you may have.
Once your ring setting details have been determined, we'll begin creating a digital mockup of your design for you to review before we begin crafting. This way, you'll be able to see what it will look like and can let us know if you want any adjustments to the design before moving forward. Right now the turnaround time for digital mockups is about 2 - 3 weeks.
Then, once you are happy with the mockup and are ready to move forward, the next step would be a payment of 50% of the ring setting price. Once that is received, we would begin crafting. After about 8 - 9 weeks, we will send you photos/videos of your finished piece! Any time after that point, you can pay the remaining balance of the ring total (lab diamond + ring setting). Once the balance is paid, we will ship your ring out free of charge, or we can schedule a time for you to come by in-person to pick it up if you prefer.
Is there an extra fee to order a custom ring vs a design already on the Castlefield website?
No, there are no extra fees to design a custom a ring!
CAN I SEND YOU AN INSPIRATION PHOTO I FOUND ONLINE?
Yes, of course! We love when you send us inspo pictures to really help us understand your design vision!
CAN CASTLEFIELD SOURCE DIFFERENT GEMSTONES?
Yes, we're able to source many different gemstones! Send us an email at hello@castlefieldcollection.com and let us know what gemstone you'd like to have and we can look into options for you!
I'm looking for an elongated stone, is this something you can do?
Yes! Since we custom cut all of our moissanite we're able to do any ratio (how elongated a stone is) that you'd like.
DOES MY DESIGN HAVE TO BE BASED OFF OF A CASTLEFIELD RING?
No! The sky is the limit for the customization options at Castlefield Collection! We want our Castlefield rings to help spark inspiration but do not want you to feel limited to these options.
Is there any metal Castlefield doesn't work with?
We currently do not work with tungsten or titanium.
We do however work with yellow, white and rose gold (in 10k, 14k or 18k) and also platinum!
Are you able to add an engraving to the inside of the band?
Yes! We offer free engraving on the inside band of your ring as long as you let us know what you would like engraved when we start crafting your ring. There would be an extra fee to add an engraving later in the process.
I have a stone already, can I send it to Castlefield to set in a new ring?
Unfortunately at this time we're unable to work with stones that are not our own. Hopefully in the future we'll be able to provide this service!
Can I send back my Castlefield ring and change to a larger or different stone in the same setting?
In most cases this is not possible as each of our ring settings are crafted specifically for your current stone's exact shape and size. Because of this we don't feel comfortable setting your new stone in your current setting and risking the security of your new stone.

Shipping
How does shipping work?
We are happy to provide free global shipping on all orders!
All orders are shipped from Toronto, Canada. This includes tracking and a signature will be required upon delivery. Once your order is complete we will send you an email to confirm your shipping address. You will then be emailed a tracking number once your order has been shipped. Shipping times typically range from 2-7 days.
How do I change my shipping address?
When your order is complete we will always send you an email to notify you and confirm your shipping address at this time! Alternatively, you can send us an email at hello@castlefieldcollection.com to notify us of the shipping address change.
FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING SHIPPING, CUSTOMS AND DUTIES?
We are happy to provide free global shipping on all orders!
We unfortunately cannot cover any customs, duties, taxes or VAT fees that may result from shipment. The recipient is responsible for these fees.
What happens if my Castlefield order is lost or damaged during shipping?
We do our best to ensure that your Castlefield order arrives safely to you!
However, there are unfortunately some circumstances that are out of our control once your ring is shipped out to you.
If in the unlikely chance that your package is lost (and we cannot retrieve it from the shipping company) or damaged during the shipping process, at no fault of your own, we will work with you to provide you with another order at little or no extra charge depending on the circumstance. These issues are dealt with on a case-by-case basis so please send us an email at hello@castlefieldcollection.com with any questions or concerns you may have!
Resizing & Repairs
How do I get my Castlefield ring resized?
We're happy to provide one free ring resizing (up to 1.5 sizes) within the first 90 days of delivery. This does not apply to rings that have stones around the entirety of the ring as these cannot be re-sized. Your ring will need to either be dropped off at our office or shipped out before the end of your 90 day window.
If you are past your first 90 days we can provide you with a quote for the resizing.
Resizing usually takes approximately 2 - 3 weeks plus shipping.
How do I get my Castlefield ring repaired?
We're so sorry to hear that you need a repair!
Within the first year of your order delivery date, the following is covered:
- Replacement and re-setting of lost stones smaller than 2.5mm
- Re-setting of stones larger than 2.5mm (customer must return stone(s) to us with the original ring) for rings that do not show damage beyond normal wear and tear.*
At-cost services:
- Re-setting of stones larger than 2.5mm beyond one year of your order delivery date. Stone(s) and original setting must be mailed back to us to be re-set.
- Replacement and re-setting of lost stones larger than 2.5mm.
- Replacement and re-setting of lost stones smaller than 2.5mm beyond one year of your order delivery date.
*Our warranties do not cover damage outside of normal wear and tear. This can include: intentional damage, accidental damage, damage from reckless wearing (wearing while working out or playing sports, lifting/carrying/pulling heavy objects, handling chemicals etc.), loss of center/main stones, allergic reactions, theft, loss, damage from alterations/maintenance by another jeweller, or misuse.
Our warranties and guarantees apply only to the original purchaser and are non-transferable.
If you take your Castlefield Collection jewelry to another jeweler or person for repairs or other services, your warranty will be voided.

What warranties does Castlefield offer?
We are pleased to offer all customers:
Complimentary Lifetime Warranty Coverage Includes:
- Lifetime stone guarantee: your Castlefield Collection moissanite will never yellow or turn cloudy. We only sell premium-tier moissanite that will stay sparkly, bright and clear - or we will replace it free of charge.
- Complimentary cleaning of your Castlefield Collection jewelry.
- Complimentary jewelry check-ups including checking prong tightness and setting security.
Complimentary One-Year Warranty Coverage Includes:
- Replacement and re-setting of lost stones smaller than 2.5mm.
- Re-setting of stones larger than 2.5mm (customer must return stone(s) to us with the original ring) for rings that do not show damage beyond normal wear and tear.*
- Ring size adjustments (up to 1.5 sizes) for Canadian and American customers. The ring must be sent back to us within the first 90 days of delivery. This does not apply to rings that have stones around the entirety of the ring - these cannot be re-sized.

Cancellations & Returns
Can I cancel my Castlefield Order?
Due to the fact that all of our jewelry is custom made to order, some payments are non-refundable in the case of cancellations.
If you're ordering a custom design, the digital mockup deposit ($100 USD/ $140 CAD +HST) is non-refundable.
After you have approved the mockup and have paid the first 50% installment, we will begin crafting your ring. Therefore, this first 50% installment is also non-refundable.
If you'd like to cancel your order after these two payments, you may do so and we will not ask you to pay the remaining 50% balance.
What is Castlefield's Return Policy?
We are very confident you will love your Castlefield Collection jewelry. But, if by some small chance, you are unhappy with your jewelry after you receive it, we can offer you a 50% refund of the total cost.*
*Return must be initiated by customer within 7 days of receiving their order (according to their tracking number). In order for the refund to be processed, the jewelry must first be successfully returned to us in its original condition, free of visible damage and with original stone(s) in-tact in their original settings. We do not allow returns on any items that have been damaged or otherwise altered (re-sized, plated, engraved, etc.) from their original condition.
